In the new year, prices for food and dining such as hamburgers and cider are rising.



Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced today (29th) that it will increase the factory prices of 14 brands including Chilsung Cider and Pepsi Cola by an average of 7.0% from the 1st of next month.



The impressions are Chilsung Cider 6.6%, Pepsi Cola 7.9%, Mountain Dew 6.3%, Milkis 5.2%, Letsbee 6.0%, Hot Six 8.9%, Trevi 6.0%, Isis 8.0 6.8%.



However, prices for Farm & Home (-3.3%) and some Cantata products (-7.7%) will be reduced.



Lotte Chilsung Beverage's factory price adjustment has been six years since 2015.



Lotte Chilsung Beverage explained, "We have inevitably increased the prices of some products due to changes in the distribution environment and rising labor costs."



Lotteria, a burger franchise operated by Lotte GRS, is also raising the price of 25 kinds of products such as burgers and desserts by 100-200 won from the 1st of next month.



Starting this month, the price of Coca-Cola sold at convenience stores has increased by 100-200 won.



The price of 2ℓ of carbonated water Seagram and Pyeongchang water increased by 100 won, and the price of 1.5ℓ of ground pear rose by 400 won.



Pulmuone recently raised prices for tofu and bean sprouts by around 10%.



Sampyo increased the prices of side dishes and canned seafood products by 36% and 40%, respectively.



Ottogi decided to increase some products of the instant rice brand Ottogibap by about 7% in the next month, and recently sent a related letter to a hypermarket.



This increase will be made five months after last September.



An official from Ottogi said, "The price of raw materials such as rice has soared that we have no choice but to adjust product prices."
