For the Palestinians, everything has to be rebuilt with Joe Biden.
Under Donald Trump's presidency and his pro-annexation administration, the links were severed.
The new Democratic tenant of the White House, hostile to colonization, therefore raises hope.
In a statement, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he was "
ready for the peace process
".
Understand: that a Palestinian state is finally emerging.
But for Hamas, in power in Gaza, the priority is the status of Jerusalem.
The city has been recognized as the capital of Israel by Donald Trump, and Joe Biden does not intend to reverse this decision.
