  The central bank stated that since October 2020, the People's Bank of China has implemented the requirements of the State Council, with the goal of serving consumption, unblocking the payment circulation environment, and protecting people's livelihoods, has issued guidance announcements on RMB cash receipts and payments, strengthened regulation and guidance, and carried out in-depth rejection of RMB cash Centralized rectification of behavior.

The 16 units that were punished were mainly park attractions, public service agencies, parking lots, insurance companies, etc. They were: China Life Insurance Co., Ltd.   The central bank pointed out that the above-mentioned units subject to punishment have weak legal awareness, or lack of service awareness, or for commercial purposes, posted "no cash" signs, and used "no contact" and "requests from superiors" as grounds to be on duty and complete Reject cash if the conditions for cash receipt are available.
