With the coronavirus and the economic crisis, youth employment finds itself in a disaster at the start of 2021. Wednesday, the guests of "La France bouge", on Europe 1, presented several initiatives to enable the youngest to find work despite a very difficult context.

"It's very difficult in general for employment and it is undoubtedly particularly difficult for young people. In terms of employment, 2020 has been a terrible year."

The words are from Alexandre Viros, President of Adecco France, and describe a situation greatly degraded by the coronavirus crisis.

If young people under the age of 30 are suffering from a particularly delicate economic situation at the start of 2021, there are, however, direct or indirect measures which allow thousands of them to find work, as detailed in the various guests from

Adecco's 15,000 "CDI learners"

It is a device announced in mid-October on Europe 1: Adecco France wants to recruit 15,000 CDI learners by the end of 2021. Three months after the official launch, no less than 3,000 CDI have found takers, explains Alexandre Viros, President France of Adecco.

"A third of them are under 26."

There are therefore 12,000 jobs to be filled by December.

The particularity of the "CDI learner" proposed by Adecco is that it allows the employee to be trained in trades that he has not exercised in the past, to meet a demand from companies in these fields.

For example, a technician in the aeronautics sector near Toulouse could be trained in the profession of fiber optic technician and find missions for which Adecco is an intermediary.

The "One young person, one solution" platform

Last fall saw the birth of another initiative, specifically aimed at the youngest.

Launched on November 19, the "1 young person, 1 solution" platform brings together job, training and volunteering offers close to home.

"Today, there are more than 65,000 job offers that are present on the platform," assures Benjamin Ducousso, co-founder of Wizbii, creator and operator of the platform.

"

About 600,000 young people have already gone through the 1 young person, 1 solution platform

"

The other figures show that two months after its launch, the platform is widely consulted: "About 600,000 young people have already gone through the platform, more than 100,000 young people have been redirected to a job, 60,000 young people have been referred to training and 30,000 young people have been redirected to civic service, "says the entrepreneur.

Veolia offers 1,000 permanent jobs

As Veolia announced in November, the water and waste treatment giant wants to recruit 1,000 new permanent contracts, "plus work-study students, everywhere in the territory and all types of training", abounds Estelle Brachlianoff, deputy general manager of Veolia , in charge of operations.

The leader insists on the multiplicity of profiles that the group wants to recruit, namely "BTS, CAP, graduates of professional license or even nothing".

The company offers "work-study and apprenticeship contracts, in which we do diploma training. This means that at the end of an apprenticeship contract with Veolia, we offer you a CDI. But by elsewhere, you have the diploma which also allows you to continue to develop in your training. "

Solidarity students, a support platform for young people

Before the job market, there is secondary and higher education.

To allow pupils and students to find answers in various areas of their curriculum, Jules Simiand-Brocherie, 18, founded Élèves Solidaires, a support platform for young people in third grade through higher education.

"It is a platform which is structured around three main sections: the Documents section, which groups together homework and sheets posted by the students themselves; the Forum section, in which students can discuss all possible subjects, such as guidance and homework help, the Chat section, which is an instant messaging system that allows students to talk to each other in private, ”explains the young entrepreneur.

"The mutual aid process is working very well, because 15,000 students have already joined the adventure and the growth is exponential."
