  A reporter from China News Agency learned from the Fifth Session of the Sixteenth People's Congress of Suzhou on the 19th that Suzhou's GDP in 2020 has exceeded 2 trillion yuan (RMB, the same below).

  In 2011, Suzhou's GDP exceeded one trillion yuan, and was the first to join the "Trillion Club" in Jiangsu Province.

From "hundred billion yuan" to "trillion yuan", Suzhou took 15 years; from "one trillion yuan" to "2 trillion yuan", Suzhou took 9 years.

  At the same time, Nantong became the fourth city in Jiangsu to enter the "trillion club".

A reporter from China News Agency learned from the Fifth Session of the 15th People's Congress of Nantong City on the 19th that in 2020, Nantong will complete a GDP of 1003.63 billion yuan.

  Previously, in addition to Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province, Nanjing and Wuxi had entered the GDP "Trillion Club" in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

  The People's Government of Shandong Province held a press conference on the 19th, stating that the province's GDP in 2020 will reach 7,312.90 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6% over 2019, and the three-industry structure ratio is 7.3:39.1:53.6, and the industrial structure is continuously optimized.

  The Information Office of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government held a press conference on the 19th. According to preliminary calculations, Guizhou Province’s GDP in 2020 will be 1,782.656 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5% from 2019 at comparable prices, and the GDP growth rate has been among the top in China for 10 consecutive years.
