  According to "Hebei Xiong'an New District Planning Outline" and "Hebei Xiong'an New District Master Plan (2018-2035)", Xiong'an New District has established a "four vertical and two horizontal" regional rail transit road grid bureau.

Among them, the "four verticals" are the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail, the Beijing-Hong Kong-Taiwan high-speed rail Jingxiong-Xiongshang section, the Jingxiong-Shixiong intercity railway, and the Xiongan New Area to Beijing Daxing International Airport Express Line (R1); the "two horizontals" are Jinbao Railway, Jinxiong Intercity-Beijing-Kunming High Speed ​​Railway Xiongxin Section.

  On November 18, 2020, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the feasibility study report on the Xiong'an New District to Shangqiu section of the Beijing-Xiong-Shanghai High-speed Railway.

The line starts from Xiong'an Station of Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway and passes through Xiong'an New District, Hebei Province, Cangzhou City, Hengshui City, Xingtai City, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, Puyang City, Henan Province, Jining City, Shandong Province, Heze City, and Shangqiu City, Henan Province. City, connected to Shangqiu Station of Shanghe-Hangzhou High-speed Railway, the main line is 552.5 kilometers in length.

  On December 30, 2020, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the feasibility study report of Xiongxin High-speed Railway.

The railway starts from Xiong’an Station of Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway and passes through Xiong’an New District, Qingyuan District of Baoding City and Wangdu, Quyang, Fuping counties, Wutaishan Scenic Area of ​​Shanxi Province, and Wutai County and Dingxiang County of Xinzhou City. Xinzhou West Railway Station has a total length of 342 kilometers.

  At the same time, the Xiongan New Area to Beijing Daxing International Airport Express Line Project (R1 line) has also made phased progress. At the end of December 2020, the R1 line design and construction general contracting bidding announcement was issued.

The R1 line project starts from the Xiong'an Terminal Station in the start-up area of ​​Xiong'an New District in the south, passes through Bazhou and Yongqing to the north, and then enters the land boundary of Beijing Daxing International Airport, connecting with the Beijing Daxing International Airport line and achieving continuous operation.

  The regional rail transit network of "four verticals and two horizontals" in Xiong'an New Area is accelerating its formation.

In the future, Xiongan New Area will rely on high-speed rail stations and inter-city stations to efficiently integrate into the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on the track".
