Nissan has just presented an updated version of the second generation of the Leaf, a model marketed since 2018. In its two versions (40 and 62 kWh), the sedan is now equipped with the intelligent active blind spot assistant or Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention (IBSI) which automatically activates the brakes to avoid changing lanes when it detects a danger nearby.

The Tekna version also has a smart rearview mirror that gives the driver a digital rearview thanks to an integrated LCD screen transmitting images from a high-resolution camera to the rear of the car.

On the comfort equipment side, LEAF users can now also lock and unlock their vehicle from their Smartphone and configure intelligent alerts such as a speed or geographical perimeter notification.

For the first time in its existence, the car is equipped with an on-board WIFI hotspot (via an Orange subscription) for optimal connectivity.

Finally, on the occasion of this update, the Leaf gets a new Ceramic Gray body color.
