At the end of December, it was reported that the pipe-laying vessel Fortuna plans to start laying pipes along two parallel branches of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark from 15 January 2021.
Oleg Tyapkin, director of the third European department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said earlier that Moscow does not doubt the successful implementation of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project, despite the threat of US sanctions against European partners.
