With regard to semiconductors for automobiles, the new coronavirus has caused a temporary drop in automobile sales, and while automobile sales are rapidly picking up in Japan and overseas, the supply from semiconductor manufacturers is not catching up, and the sense of shortage is increasing worldwide. It seems that Toyota Motor, Honda, and Nissan Motor have also announced a policy to reduce production.

Some in the industry say that the delay in supplying parts including semiconductors will continue for several months, and there are concerns that the impact will be prolonged.
