The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), which organizes the two exhibitions "IDEX 2021" and "Navdex 2021", which will be held between February 21 and 25, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center of the Abu Dhabi Health Department, has announced the exemption of participants, exhibitors, media professionals and visitors. Registered internationals, from the procedures of the 10-day quarantine period upon their arrival in Abu Dhabi from outside the country, with the aim of facilitating procedures for delegations that have confirmed their participation from all over the world.

"ADNEC" stated that visitors and international participants must show the registration badge printed at any of the country's border points, to obtain an exemption from quarantine, without the need to register in the electronic quarantine system, or wear a tracking watch.

She emphasized that work is currently underway to approve the protocol for health procedures for the IDEX and NAVDEX exhibitions 2021, in cooperation with all the competent border authorities and outlets, to facilitate the entry of delegations and support their participation, and the details will be announced at a later stage.

The Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, said that the department is keen, by exempting the participants in the two exhibitions from the quarantine period, to contribute to promoting the process of business and economic activities in the emirate, by supporting the mission of «ADNEC» », As one of the strategic partners with whom it worked during the pandemic period, as part of a number of initiatives that contributed to the health of society, and is confident of its ability to apply the highest level of precautionary measures, including the work of the laboratory tests necessary to ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors, during the exhibitions.

He added: “The department confirms that the approval of the quarantine exemption procedures requires all parties to observe the requirements that must be followed before entering the state’s territory, to ensure the implementation of preventive measures, and to provide the highest standards of health and safety for all its residents and their protection.”

Al-Nuaimi stressed the need for international visitors to be informed of the exemption requirements, pointing out that the department will coordinate with the concerned authorities procedures to facilitate the entry of participants in the exhibition, and support their participation, while preserving their health and the safety of those around them.
