After more than three years of crisis between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and its allies including the United Arab Emirates, the six Gulf Arab countries signed an agreement on “solidarity and stability” last Tuesday.

The first signs of opening took place this Saturday.

In particular, cars were able to cross the land border between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The United Arab Emirates also reopened on Saturday their entry points - sea, land and air - with Qatar.

This is the first step in the reconciliation between the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

This Saturday, the UAE authorities reopened their airspace as well as other entry points with their Gulf neighbors.

A reopening that comes only a few days after the announcement of the end of a

boycott

that will have lasted three and a half years.

" UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash said.

Because fundamental differences remain between the two countries.

Doha does not seem ready to make concessions on its relations with Tehran, Abu Dhabi's number one enemy.

 a very good start

" added the UAE minister.

Different sectors should notably benefit from this reopening.

Starting with tourism, a pillar of diversification of the UAE economy.
