China News Service, Qingdao, January 7 (Reporter Hu Yaojie) CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. announced on the 7th that China’s new 350 km/h CR400AF-G Alpine EMU developed by the company made its debut in Beijing.

This EMU is a "war-cold artifact" in China's high-speed rail family. It has the "unique skill" that is resistant to low temperatures, ice and snow, and can run as usual in the extreme cold environment of minus 40 ℃. It can be called the "most freezing resistant" EMU. .

At present, the car has entered the line operation test stage and is expected to be put into operation on the Beijing-Harbin high-speed rail in China's alpine region.

Jia Xiangjie, the overall chief designer of the high-cold EMU of CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd., said that the key to the operation of EMUs in the high-cold environment is to deal with low temperature and ice and snow problems.

For this reason, the new Fuxing Alpine EMU has been designed for alpine adaptation based on the CR400AF EMU platform.

According to reports, the materials, electrical components and system components used in the EMUs, such as the car body, bogies, and air supply brakes, have been designed to withstand low temperatures, and are designed to withstand snow and blows, water systems, and condensation prevention. Technical measures have been taken to enable the EMU to have a special "cold-resistant" performance, able to withstand the test of extremely harsh operating conditions such as minus 40°C and ice and snow.

The "nervous system" of the train consists of hundreds of switches, and the length of the connected wires can reach more than 240 kilometers.

In the high-cold environment, the power distribution cabinet is prone to condensate water due to "condensation", which affects the safety of the "nervous system".

The designer sprayed a layer of micron-sized ceramic porous material on the skeleton of the power distribution cabinet. The condensed water generated by the cold air can be stored in the pores. When the temperature of the passenger compartment rises, the condensed water can naturally evaporate.

In terms of braking, the new type of high-cold EMUs use automated anti-freezing functions in batches for the first time.

In addition, extremely cold weather will freeze the train's water supply and drainage system, which may cause problems such as the inability of the passengers to drink hot water and go to the toilet.

The water tank, dirt tank, and water pipes of the new train are covered with thick "padded clothes". There is an electric heating wire in the middle of the "padded clothes", and a "small electric stove" is added at the bottom of the water tank. The cold weather can still maintain vitality. ".

It is reported that after the advent of the new 350km/h Fuxing Alpine EMU, the China Fuxing EMU has a more complete pedigree. At present, China's full series of EMUs from 160 kilometers to 350 kilometers per hour has been put into operation. As of the end of last year, the national railways were equipped with 1036 sets of Fuxing series EMUs, which have safely operated 836 million kilometers and transported 827 million passengers. (Finish)
