Last week, real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 4.3 billion dirhams.

According to the weekly report on the actions issued by the department yesterday, 1,144 pledges were recorded at a value of 2.09 billion dirhams, including 109 sales of lands worth 438.22 million dirhams, and 1,035 sales of apartments and villas at a value of 1.66 billion dirhams, while mortgages recorded 1.84 billion dirhams, while 98 grants valued at 428.41 One million dirhams.

The most important land sales with a value of 38 million dirhams came in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 35 million dirhams in the "Island 2" area, and then a pledge of 30 million dirhams in the Al Thanyah fourth area.

"Nad Al Sheba Third" topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 27 pledges at a value of 66 million dirhams, followed by the fourth Al-Habiya region with 20 pledges worth 45 million dirhams, and a third in Nad Al-Sheba Al-Oula, with 18 pledges worth 36 million dirhams.

The most important sales of apartments and villas were a pledge of 20 million dirhams in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area, followed by two sales in the Palm Jumeirah area, the first with a value of 15 million dirhams, and the second with 12 million dirhams.

"Business Bay" topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, with 100 pledges at a value of 139 million dirhams, followed by Dubai Marina with 78 pledges of 152 million dirhams, and a third in "Al-Barsha South Fourth" with 67 pledges at a value of 41 million dirhams.
