Saudi Arabia will cut oil production in February and March

This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdel Aziz bin Salman at a press conference following the meeting of the OPEC + countries.

“Saudi Arabia is ready for a voluntary reduction in February and March by 1 million barrels (per day) in addition to the reduction level set with our colleagues.

Thus, oil production in Saudi Arabia will amount to about 8.125 million barrels per day, starting from February 1 until the end of March, ”TASS quoted bin Salman as saying.

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, following the results of the ministerial meeting of the OPEC + countries, said that Kazakhstan will increase oil production in February and March by 10 thousand barrels per day, and Russia - by 65 thousand barrels per day.

The next OPEC + meeting will take place on March 4.
