Abu Dhabi Economy exempts workers who have received the (Covid-19) vaccine from the periodic PCR examination

Today, the Economic Department in Abu Dhabi issued a circular to exempt workers in the licensed facilities in the emirate from the PCR examination every 14 days in the event that they received the (Covid-19) vaccine.

The department said in a statement: In line with the preventive measures related to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), issued by the concerned authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and in order to achieve a safe and healthy environment and limit the effects and repercussions of the pandemic, workers in facilities will be exempt from the PCR examination if they receive The vaccine, as of January 10, 2021.

The department confirmed that the exemption includes workers in the following establishments: restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries, commercial centers, butcheries, and vegetable and fruit stores, with the necessity to apply preventive measures.
