Skoda Octavia -

DR

At the start of 1990, Skoda was not far from dying.

With only one model, the Favorit, the Czech manufacturer is struggling to compete with European brands.

Fortunately, in 1991, the good fairy Volkswagen looks at the cradle of Skoda and scents the potential of the firm on the market of Eastern countries.

After launching the Felicia in 1992, VW brought Skoda into a new era in 1996 with the Octavia, a model designed by Belgian designer Luc Donckerwolke.

In 30 years, Skoda has become a global manufacturer which exports its products to more than 100 countries and which has a wide and fairly varied range.

The Octavia and the Fabia are at the top of sales in 10 countries including the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia or… Switzerland!
