Fuel prices will continue to stabilize in January

Yesterday, sites for fuel distribution companies revealed that fuel prices that include gasoline, "gasoline" with its derivatives, "Super 98" and "Special 95", in addition to diesel, have revealed stability in their indicators as of the first of next January, at the same price limits for December, according to Prices approved by the Committee for Monitoring the Prices of Various Fuels, Including 5% Value Added Tax.

The stability recorded by fuel prices finally comes at low rates for the tenth consecutive month, after having recorded a similar stability during the month of December at the same price limits for the months of November, October, September, August, July, June, May, and April.


The price of a liter of "Super 98" gasoline was stable at 1.91 dirhams, while the price of a liter of "special 95" gasoline was fixed at 1.80 dirhams.

The price of a liter of diesel was stable at 2.06 dirhams, as of the beginning of next January.


It is noteworthy that the fuel price standards adopted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry are determined on a monthly basis, according to the average international oil prices, up or down, after adding the operating costs of the distribution companies.
