At 10 o'clock this morning, my country's largest oil and gas field-PetroChina Changqing Oilfield, the oil and gas output on the digital display of the production command center reached 60.08 million tons, accounting for about 1/6 of the domestic output.

At this point, a new milestone in China's petroleum industry was born, marking my country's completion of an extremely large oil and gas field with an annual output of 60 million tons of oil and gas equivalent.

The Changqing Oilfield, located in the Ordos Basin, is the fastest increasing oilfield in my country since the new century.

The development of Changqing Oilfield is a typical "three-low" (low permeability, low pressure, and low abundance) oil and gas field in the world. Its notable feature is "there is oil in the well, but the well does not flow." Economic and effective development is a worldwide problem.

Starting from low-permeability oilfields, breaking through ultra-low permeability and liberating tight gas, to realizing the effective development of shale oil on a large scale, Changqing Oilfield has formed an original geological theoretical understanding of rapid acquisition of oil and gas resources, and mastered the main technology for efficient development of three-low oil and gas fields , The key core technology has created two miracles of sustained and rapid growth of oil and gas production and low-cost development.

In the past two years, oil exploration has discovered a large 1 billion-ton shale oil field in Qingyang, Gansu; natural gas exploration has discovered two hundred billion cubic meters of gas-bearing areas in Longdong and Ningxia, and has obtained exploration on the west side of the Jingbian gas field. It has a large carbonate rock reserves of 212.4 billion cubic meters. Risk exploration has captured the first high-yield marine shale gas well in northern my country.

So far, the cumulative proven oil reserves are 5.9 billion tons and the proven natural gas reserves are 4 trillion cubic meters.

The production area of Changqing Oilfield spans the five provinces (regions) of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Mengjin, and Jinshan.

At present, Changqing Oilfield has contributed more than 760 million tons of oil and gas equivalent to the country.

As my country’s largest natural gas production base, Changqing Oilfield is responsible for the gas supply of more than 50 large and medium-sized cities, with an annual output of more than 44.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. It has formed a safe and stable supply for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Inner Mongolia region. Gas source.

Since the official gas supply in 1997, it has produced 468.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is equivalent to replacing 569 million tons of standard coal, reducing carbon emissions by 380 million tons, and exerting good ecological benefits.

Changqing Oilfield plans to increase its annual oil and gas production to 68 million tons during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
