The fastest from Chongqing to Chengdu was 62 minutes. Chengdu and Chongqing officially ushered in the "one-hour living circle".

  At 9:15 in the morning, the G8608 train departed from Chongqing Shapingba Station, speeding all the way at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, without stopping, and arrived at Chengdu East Station 62 minutes later.

  Passenger Li Jie returned to Chengdu after a business trip in Chongqing. Before she had time to enjoy the scenery along the way, the train reached the end.

Li Jie said that after the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail has increased its speed and implemented "transit-oriented" operations, traveling between Chengdu and Chongqing will become more convenient and faster in the future.

Until the launch of this Fuxing, it only took one hour from Chongqing to Chengdu, and Chongqing and Chengdu truly integrated into the one-hour life circle.

  [Explanation] In the early stage of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail operation, 25 pairs of "Fuxing" EMU trains are planned to be operated between Chengdu and Chongqing.

According to the demand of the opening, the Chongqing Locomotive Depot prepared 28 EMU drivers, of which 8 were involved in the whole process of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail upgrading and transformation test process, and the other 20 also passed the training, and all of them reached the online standard.

  Li Zhigang, the first train driver of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail after the speed increase, is a “three generations of iron”. The three generations of his family are all train drivers of Chongqing Locomotive Depot.

Li Zhigang said that after the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail is increased, the speed will increase from 300 kilometers to 350 kilometers per hour, and the speed change point in the hub area at both ends will reach 15. Therefore, the operating speed must be continuously adjusted during the driving process to ensure absolute concentration of energy and absolute reliable movement. , Can accurately manipulate each speed change point.

  [Explanation] The Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail channels along the river. It is the main skeleton of the intercity railway network in the Shuangcheng Economic Circle of the Chengdu-Chongqing region, with a total length of 299.8 kilometers.

Since its completion in December 2015, it has been operating at a speed of 300 kilometers per hour, and the passenger flow has shown a rapid growth trend. In 2019, 31.85 million passengers were sent.

  It is understood that while the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail is up to the standard to increase its speed and quality, the National Railway Group is accelerating the planning and construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing mid-line high-speed rail.
