[Explanation] On December 23, the successful opening ceremony of the first "Turkey·Istanbul-China·Xi'an" China-Europe train was held in Xi’an. The opening of the train provided important assistance to the further strengthening of economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.

  It is reported that this freight train departed from Istanbul on December 4, passed through Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and entered China through the Khorgos port. It arrived in Xi'an, Shaanxi on December 19, and traveled a total of 8,693 kilometers. All customs clearance has been completed.

  This line is different from the previous central line. It uses the trans-Caspian Sea, and it uses the Trans-Caspian Middle Corridor and Southern Passage, which is btk (Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway). , Then this channel is a brand new channel. We will drive this train to Turkey, and then through Kars through sea-rail combined transport, or in the form of railway, it can be further allocated to Central Europe, Eastern Europe and even Countries along the Mediterranean Sea.

So for the future, we will go further to the above-mentioned countries and regions, and lay the foundation for the operation of sea-rail combined trains or direct trains.

  [Explanation] It is understood that this is the first China-Europe freight train that departs from Turkey and is fully loaded with export commodities since it passed through Turkey for the first time in November 2019.

The refrigerator, which is full of 42 containers on the train, is worth more than ten million yuan and will be distributed and sold from Xi'an, China to the whole country.

  So it turns out that most of our imports rely on sea transportation. It takes a very long time, maybe 40 days, but this time our train only takes 12.3 days from departure to our Xi'an station (port), which greatly saves us. The time cost, and it, is fast and efficient. Then, sea transportation is actually affected by weather changes. This time the train is running very fast and smoothly, and it is not affected by weather changes. The safety of freight is guaranteed.

  [Explanation] Since its inception, the China-Europe Express Chang'an has built a major economic and trade channel for countries along the “Belt and Road”.

In the first 11 months of this year, the China-Europe Express Chang'an has operated a total of 3,441, with a total cargo weight of approximately 2.641 million tons. Comprehensive indicators such as traffic volume, heavy container rate, and freight volume have ranked among the top in the country.
