Chinanews client, Beijing, December 21 (Reporter Li Jinlei) Recently, Hunan, Jiangxi and other regions have adopted measures to restrict electricity consumption, which has aroused the attention of the outside world.

In response to this, Zhao Chenxin, Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a press conference on the 21st that two "rest assured", saying that the electricity supply is generally stable and orderly. Residents including Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, etc. have not been affected by electricity consumption. influences.

On December 21, the State Council Information Office held a press conference on the white paper "China's Energy Development in the New Era".

Power demand exceeds expectations

Zhao Chenxin pointed out that recent monitoring shows that due to the rapid growth of industrial production and the superposition of low temperature and cold current, the current demand for electricity has exceeded expectations, forming a rapid growth.

Specific data show that since December, the growth rate of electricity demand in Hunan and Jiangxi has been very high, ranking first in the country.

According to the Electricity Production Express, Hunan’s electricity consumption in early December increased by 19.8% year-on-year.

The largest electricity load a few days ago was 31.44 million kilowatts, which is more than 1 million kilowatts higher than the previous peak load, close to 2 million kilowatts. This increase is very large.

In the first ten days of December, Jiangxi’s electricity consumption increased by 18.4% year-on-year, slightly less than that of Hunan, but also more than 18%. This figure is also very large.

As of now, the largest electricity load in Jiangxi has reached 26.31 million kilowatts a few days ago. This situation in Jiangxi is also five to six hundred thousand kilowatts higher than the historical peak load in the summer.

Both Hunan and Jiangxi have created high points.

Zhejiang’s electricity generation and consumption in the first ten days of December increased by 9.2% year-on-year, and this growth rate was also very high, ranking first among the eastern provinces.

"All these factors have driven the increase in demand for thermal coal. Recently, the price of coal has risen slightly. However, the

number of days of coal storage and the total amount of coal stored in

power plants

are guaranteed. Please rest assured.

" Zhao Chenxin said.

On December 15th, employees of the State Grid Loudi Transmission and Maintenance Company inspected the 110 kV Yuelongyang line and monitored the icing of the line to ensure the safe and stable operation of line equipment.

Residents’ electricity consumption has not been affected

"Up to now, the overall power supply has remained stable and orderly, including Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and other provinces, residents' electricity consumption has not been affected." Zhao Chenxin said.

Zhao Chenxin pointed out that in the face of the rapid increase in electricity demand since the beginning of winter, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, together with relevant departments and power companies, have actively taken measures to effectively guarantee the power demand and ensure that the power supply is generally stable and orderly.

In Hunan and Jiangxi, because of the long distance of coal transportation, the external power receiving capacity has been restricted. Therefore, it has been the key areas for winter protection over the years.

Zhao Chenxin said that recently, in response to the power gaps in these provinces, the relevant departments of the Hunan and Jiangxi governments have also made some pre-judgments in advance. The plan has planned to reduce the electricity consumption of some industrial and commercial enterprises to ensure the balance of electricity supply and demand, ensure the electricity needs of residents, and ensure the order of electricity consumption and the overall smooth operation of electricity.

Regarding the situation of power rationing in Zhejiang, Zhao Chenxin mentioned that the situation in Zhejiang is not exactly the same as that in Hunan and Jiangxi. Zhejiang’s power supply can guarantee the power demand of the whole province, and there is no shortage of power supply. Some parts of the province have To save energy and reduce emissions, some measures have been taken to limit power consumption.

There is no problem in ensuring stable energy supply capacity

Zhao Chenxin said that in the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Administration will continue to guide local power companies, including other energy companies, to complement each other and balance multiple energies, and work together to ensure winter energy.

Specific measures include: First, increase power generation capacity and optimize operation methods.

Second, further increase the supply of thermal coal through multiple channels.

It has instructed Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and other major coal producing areas and key coal enterprises to organize production scientifically and rationally under the premise of ensuring safety.

At the same time, it will coordinate and solve the electricity and coal transportation capacity in a timely manner to effectively guarantee the demand for electricity.

Third, for some areas that do have short-term power supply gaps, we should guide scientific and reasonable dispatching to ensure that residents' electricity consumption is not affected.

  "In general, please believe that

there is no problem with our ability to guarantee a stable supply of energy. Please rest assured.

" Zhao Chenxin said.

Zhang Jianhua, director of the National Energy Administration, also emphasized that the overall power supply capacity of our country is now guaranteed, and this situation is in individual places and there are some accidents.

On the whole, there will be no major problems with energy supply, including electricity supply.
