NTT DoCoMo has officially announced that it will reduce the price of a large-capacity rate plan that can use the new communication standard 5G by 1000 yen among the current rate plans.

We are still considering price reductions for plans with more users and less data capacity.

According to NTT DoCoMo's announcement, the price plan with a data capacity of 100 GB that can use 5G will be reduced by 1000 yen from April next year.

This plan is currently offered for 7650 yen per month, excluding various discounts, and this will be 6650 yen and the data capacity will be unlimited.

Also, for a plan of 30 GB for 4G and a monthly fee of 7150 yen, the data capacity will be increased to 60 GB and the price will be reduced by 600 yen to 6550 yen.

We will continue to consider price reductions for plans with more users and less data capacity.

While the government is demanding a reduction in mobile phone charges under the Suga administration, DoCoMo has already announced a new rate plan mainly for young people, but this time it will be the first major reduction in the price of the main unit.

DoCoMo's continuous launch of cheap rates is likely to affect the response of other major companies.
