Last year, domestic corporate net profits declined the most since the 2008 financial crisis.



According to the National Statistical Office, domestic companies excluding finance and insurance companies' net income before corporate tax was KRW 102 trillion, down 37.2% from a year ago.



Manufacturing net profit was 44.6 billion won, down 48.3% from a year ago, while real estate sector net profit rose 13.4% to 125.7 billion won.



Total corporate sales fell 0.6% to KRW 2440 trillion, the largest decline in four years since 2015.

Starting next year, hairdressers and cell phone stores must issue a cash receipt unconditionally for payments of 100,000 won or more in cash.



The IRS has added 10 cash import businesses to the mandatory issuance of cash receipts.



700,000 businesses include online retailers, clothing and footwear retail, reading rooms and gosiwon.



If a business operator in a compulsory issuance business does not issue a cash receipt, a 20% surcharge is imposed on the transaction price.

is expected that the number of foreigners visiting Korea this year is the fewest in 32 years since 1988.



The number of foreigners visiting Korea until October of this year was only 2395,000, down 83.6% from the same period last year.



The number of Koreans who have gone abroad also stands at 4.12 million, which is expected to reach the lowest level in 22 years after the IMF financial crisis.

McDonald's Korea held a charity fundraising event'Mac Happy Day' non-face-to-face.



A donation of 500 million won, the largest amount ever, was raised for McHappy Day, which was held to provide housing for long-term hospitalized children and their families.



McDonald's will sell a special menu at the end of the year,'Lucky Burger', and plan to donate 100 won for each burger purchase.
