Dubai Airports welcomed the inaugural flight of El Al Airlines from Tel Aviv to Dubai International Airport, yesterday morning.
The national carrier of Israel will operate up to 14 weekly flights between the two destinations, using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and B739 aircraft.
The launch of the new service comes as a result of a series of bilateral agreements signed between the United Arab Emirates and Israel in the wake of the historic peace treaty.
The direct flights are expected to boost trade, tourism and hospitality on both sides while strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
