a plastic baby bathtub sold by Daiso, a household goods store.

It was made by Daehyun Chemical Industry and sold in Daiso under the name of'Dropped Baby Bathtub'.

The National Institute of Technology and Standards said that a phthalate plasticizer, an environmental hormone, was detected in excess of 612.5 times the safety standard.

Phthalate-based plasticizers are hazardous chemicals that can cause liver damage and poor reproductive function.

It was popular because it was a practical product at a relatively low price, but parents who bought and used the bathtub are angry.

Class action moves are also taking place.

Parents are worried about the health problems of their children, and are expressing their willingness to join the class action suit.

Daiso only checked the safety documents when the product was first received, and the manufacturer did not produce the product according to the safety standards afterwards.

As the controversy grew, Daiso apologized, saying, "We did not thoroughly manage safety," and said, "We will proceed with the refund action as soon as possible."
