Emirates Airlines expected that the number of passengers departing through "Terminal 3" at Dubai International Airport will exceed 200,000 during the Christmas period, explaining that according to its reservation record, passenger traffic will reach its peak next Friday, December 11, while the rate of movement began Passengers actually increased, starting from yesterday, to continue until Monday, December 21st.

The airline said in a statement that the reservation numbers also indicate that more than 200,000 passengers will arrive in Dubai on its flights during that period.

She advised travelers to consider additional time to avoid any expected delays due to the heavy traffic on the roads leading to "Terminal 3", noting that travelers should complete their travel procedures at the airport three hours before the departure time, regardless of their class of travel.

The carrier explained that the "counters" will be closed one hour before the date of each flight, and late passengers will not be accepted to ensure the departure of flights on time.

She pointed out that customers can complete their travel procedures online during the period from 48 hours to 90 minutes before the flight departure time, while they must visit the check-in counters at the airport to obtain a boarding pass and verify the documents required at each destination.

She added that in addition to the check-in counters managed by Emirates Airlines employees, the airline provides its customers with the option to use self-service kiosks to complete travel procedures and hand over bags, as there are eight kiosks and 16 baggage delivery devices in Terminal 3.

She indicated that the service is available to travelers to all destinations except for the United States of America, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong due to the additional requirements of these countries.

"Emirates Airlines" stated that its passengers can use the biometric track that provides them with a smooth and contactless movement in "Terminal 3" at Dubai International Airport, and shortens the waiting time in queues, noting that customers have the option to complete immigration procedures using the latest technologies based on Facial recognition via boarding gates and smart tunnel.
