As part of its strategy to promote alliances with different industries, NTT has decided to expand its alliances with German software development giant SAP and strengthen its business to support the digital transformation of companies.

This was announced by an online meeting between NTT President Jun Sawada and SAP CEO Christian Klein.



According to the report, the two companies agreed on the 7th to expand the alliance to help domestic and foreign companies promote DX = digital transformation that transforms their business with digital technology.



By combining data centers, which NTT has strengths, with software development capabilities, which SAP has strengths, we analyze customer data in real time in fields such as manufacturing, logistics, and retail to streamline procurement, production, and delivery. It is said that it will develop a mechanism to make it.



NTT is strategically promoting alliances with companies in different industries such as Toyota Motor Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation, and this expansion of alliances is part of this.



At a press conference, NTT President Sawada said, "As the new coronavirus expands and remoteization progresses, we would like to collaborate with SAP through digitization to further promote innovation."
