Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client, December 3rd. On Wednesday, Eastern Time, the three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed. The Dow and S&P 500 index rose, among which the S&P 500 index set a record high closing record; the Nasdaq fell slightly.

  As of the close, the Dow rose 59.87 points, or 0.20%, to 298853.79; the Nasdaq fell 5.74 points, or 0.05%, to 12,349.37; the S&P 500 index rose 6.56 points, or 0.18%, to 3,69.01 points.

  Specifically, banking stocks rose collectively. JPMorgan Chase rose 1.93%, Goldman Sachs rose 2.43%, Citigroup rose 3.12%, Morgan Stanley rose 1.15%, Bank of America rose 1.31%, and Wells Fargo rose 2.82%.

  Energy stocks rose collectively. Exxon Mobil rose 3.75%, Chevron rose 2.74%, ConocoPhillips rose 1.78%, Schlumberger rose 2.71%, and Occidental Petroleum rose 5.09%.

  Large technology stocks rose and fell mixed. Apple rose 0.29%, Amazon fell 0.51%, Netflix fell 0.24%, Google rose 1.65%, Facebook rose 0.34%, and Microsoft fell 0.39%.

  Anti-epidemic concept stocks rose collectively. Moderna rose 1.41%, Gilead Sciences rose 0.02%, Novavax Pharmaceuticals rose 1.63%, BioNTech rose 6.21%, and AstraZeneca rose 0.77%.

  Aviation stocks rose collectively, Boeing rose 5.07%, American Airlines rose 4.13%, Delta Air Lines rose 2.83%, Southwest Airlines rose 0.38%, United Airlines rose 3.11%.

  Popular Chinese concept stocks were mixed. Alibaba fell 1.04%, JD fell 1.15%, Baidu rose 2.45%; Canaan Technology fell 20.21%, Lufax fell 10.18%, Hong En Education fell 9.93%, and ChinaNet Online fell 7.14 %; Haichuan Securities rose 15.86%, Tuniu rose 14.95%, Worry-Free English rose 13.81%, Xiaopeng Motor rose 6.76%, Weilai rose 5.73%, Pinduoduo rose 5.51%, and Weilai Motor rose 5.73%.

  As for European stock markets, the three major European stock indexes were mixed.

The London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks closed at 6463.39 points, an increase of 78.66 points or 1.23% over the previous trading day.

The DAX index on the Frankfurt stock market in Germany fell 69.06 points, or 0.52%, to close at 13,313.24 points.

The CAC40 index of the Paris stock market in France closed at 5,583.01 points on the 2nd, up 1.37 points or 0.02% from the previous trading day.

  In terms of oil prices, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for January delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by US$0.73, or 1.6%, to close at US$45.28 per barrel.

  In terms of gold prices, the most active February 2021 gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market rose 11.3 US dollars from the previous trading day to close at 1830.2 US dollars per ounce, an increase of 0.62%.

  As for the US dollar index, as of the end of the New York trading session, the US dollar index, which measures the US dollar against six major currencies, fell 0.22% to 91.1153.
