At the meeting, the three lists of "2020 Zhejiang Top 200 Private Enterprises", "2020 Zhejiang Top 100 Private Enterprises Employment", and "2020 Zhejiang Top 100 Private Enterprises R&D Investment" were released for the first time.

　　As the birthplace of China’s private economy, Zhejiang’s private economy contributed 65% of the province’s GDP, 74% of taxes, 87% of employment, and 91% of the total number of enterprises.

The private economy has become the most prominent feature of Zhejiang's economy.

　　This year, in accordance with the requirements of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce "Notice on Conducting the Investigation of Large-scale Private Enterprises of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce in 2019", the Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce conducted the 22nd survey of large-scale private enterprises.

Nearly 900 companies in Zhejiang Province with revenues exceeding 500 million yuan (RMB, the same below) participated in the survey, voluntarily declared relevant data, and after careful verification and sorting, the above three lists were formed.

　　The threshold for the “Top 200 Zhejiang Private Enterprises in 2020” is 5.177 billion yuan, with a total revenue of 6.33 trillion yuan and an average household income of 31.626 billion yuan.

There are 11 companies with revenues exceeding 100 billion yuan.

　　Among them, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group ranked first with 330.818 billion yuan in revenue, Tsingshan Holding Group and Zhejiang Hengyi Group ranked second and third with total revenue of 262.602 billion yuan and 215.164 billion yuan respectively.

　　As a large private economic province, Zhejiang Province has always placed “employment stability” in a prominent position. At present, private enterprises contribute about 87% of the province’s employment power and have become the main force in absorbing employment.

　　The "2020 Zhejiang Top 100 Private Enterprises for Employment" has a threshold of 8032 people. The 100 companies on the list have solved a total of 2,367,300 jobs in China in 2019, with an average job of 23,700 per household.

　　Similarly, the majority of private enterprises are the mainstay of innovation in Zhejiang Province.

The total R&D investment of the listed companies in the "2020 Zhejiang Top 100 Private Enterprises in R&D Investment" in 2019 reached 95.788 billion yuan, with an average of 958 million yuan per household.

　　Xiong Jianping, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the United Front Work Department, said that enterprises are the mainstay of technological innovation and must adhere to the core position of innovation to create new advantages for high-quality development.

At the same time, Zhejiang party committees and governments at all levels will go all out to do a good job in serving private enterprises, earnestly implement the "Regulations on the Promotion of Private Enterprises in Zhejiang Province", create a market-oriented, legalized, and international business environment, and build a pro-Qing political and business relationship.
