Emirates Airlines reopens its lounges around the world, starting in Cairo

Emirates Airlines has started to reopen its private lounges at international airports, as it began receiving customers in its lounge at Cairo International Airport.

In a statement today, the company stated that in the coming weeks, its customers will be able to enjoy the distinguished services provided by its lounges at New York JFK Airport, Manchester International Airport and other destinations through its global network of lines.

Emirates Airlines has introduced modifications to the lounges, with precautionary measures being followed to maintain the health and safety of its customers, and new protocols are applied in each lounge.

The "buffet" will be replaced by a choice service, with the activation of digital menus. Each seat and table will be sterilized after customers leave, in addition to the hall being sterilized regularly.

All lounge workers will wear face masks, gloves and personal protective equipment. Physical distancing protocols will be applied and the lounge seating capacity will be halved.

Newspapers, magazines and other publications will not be available to reduce the likelihood of injury through touch.

Emirates Airlines has reopened its lounge in Concourse B at Dubai International Airport, with the redesign of the services provided and the allocation of an area for first class passengers.
