The development of vaccines against Covid-19 is happening in rapid succession. On Friday, the Mainz-based company Biontech and Pfizer submitted an application for emergency approval in the USA. The US biotech company Moderna should soon follow suit. And the way it looks so far, Americans have one advantage: they don't have to refrigerate their vaccine.
