By product, washing machines increased by 27.8%, refrigerators increased by 27%, and air conditioners increased by 19.8% compared to the same month last year.
In addition, the number of air purifiers has increased 2.2 times that of the same month last year, and the number of hot plates has increased by 86%.
Yuji Hamasaki, Chairman of the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association, said, "I think the demand for nesting will continue in the second half of the year as the infection with the new coronavirus is spreading again."
