China's e-commerce stocks rose, with Pinduoduo rising 12.7%, continuing to hit a record high; JD.com rose more than 6%, and Vipshop rose nearly 4%.

  As of the close, the Dow rose 399.64 points, or 1.37%, to 29,479.81 points; the Nasdaq rose 119.70 points, or 1.02%, to 11829.29 points; the S&P 500 index rose 48.14 points, or 1.36%, to 3,585.15 points.

  American Airlines stocks rose collectively, Boeing rose 5.84%, American Airlines rose 4.26%, Delta Air Lines rose 6.05%, Southwest Airlines rose 4.7%, United Airlines rose 5.81%.

  Most of the major US technology stocks closed up. Apple rose 0.04%, Amazon rose 0.6%, Netflix fell 0.81%, Google rose 1.69%, Facebook rose 0.68%, and Microsoft rose 0.5%.

  Bank of America stocks rose collectively. JPMorgan Chase rose 0.61%, Goldman Sachs rose 2.14%, Citigroup rose 0.77%, Morgan Stanley rose 1.89%, Bank of America rose 1.12%, and Wells Fargo rose 1.11%.

  Most popular Chinese concept stocks closed higher.

In terms of e-commerce stocks, Pinduoduo rose 12.7%, continuing to hit a record high; JD.com rose 6.6%, Vipshop rose nearly 4%, and Alibaba fell 1.39%.

New energy auto stocks plunged at a high level. Weilai Automobile fell 7.35%, Xiaopeng Automobile fell 6.55%, and Ideal Automobile fell 1.83%.

In terms of other Chinese concept stocks, Best Group rose 14.95%, Tuniu rose 14.71%, Qudian rose 9.57%, Shell rose 7.63%, Lufax rose 7.62%, and Dada Group rose 7.38%.

  In terms of European stocks, the three major European stock indexes were mixed.

The London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks closed at 6316.39 points on the 13th, down 22.55 points or 0.36% from the previous trading day.

The CAC40 index of the Paris stock market in France closed at 5380.16 points, an increase of 17.59 points or 0.33% over the previous trading day; the DAX index of the Frankfurt stock market in Germany rose 23.77 points, or 0.18%, to close at 13,076.72 points.

  In terms of international gold prices, the most active December gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market rose 12.9 US dollars over the previous trading day on the 13th, closing at US$1886.2 per ounce, an increase of 0.69%.

  In terms of oil prices, WTI crude oil futures for December delivery fell 99 cents, or 2.4%, to close at $40.13 per barrel.

The cumulative increase in a single week reached 8.1%.

  As for the US dollar index, as of the end of the New York foreign exchange market, the US dollar index, which measures the US dollar against six major currencies, fell 0.22% to 92.7613.
