　　Tian Weijian, 49, suddenly "changed his career" after working in the lead smelting industry for 29 years.

　　Tian Weijian is the Deputy Director of the Production and Mobility Department of Hunan Zhuye Torch New Materials Co., Ltd. and an old "Zhuyeer".

Since 2019, he has "changed" from lead smelting to zinc alloy production, exploring the path of transformation and upgrading and conversion of new and old kinetic energy.

　　As a key enterprise built during the national "First Five-Year Plan" period, the Zhuzhou Metallurgical Group, founded in 1956, is one of the benchmarks of China's lead and zinc smelting industry.

Over the past 60 years, its production capacity has gradually expanded from tens of thousands of tons of just-built factories to 650,000 tons.

Chimneys have been erected in the Qingshuitang Old Industrial Zone in Zhuzhou, and generations of workers have regarded Zhuye as their home.

　　However, long-term extensive development has also caused Zhuzhou to owe heavy environmental debts.

In 2014, the green relocation and renovation project of the Qingshuitang Old Industrial Zone was officially put on the agenda, and the exploration of transfer and transformation including Zhuzhou Metallurgical Corporation and other enterprises kicked off.

Years of working methods and locations have to be changed, and Tian Weijian and other old employees are a little overwhelmed for a while.

　　"Many of us have worked and lived in Qingshuitang for our entire lives, and we have both reluctance and worries about the relocation." Tian Weijian said.

However, he is more aware of the necessity of eliminating high energy consumption and high pollution production capacity and upgrading the quality of the industry. Apart from other words, he has plunged into the design work for the relocation of Zhuzhou Metallurgical Industry to Changning City, Hunan.

　　At the end of 2018, in a heavy snowfall, Tian Weijian personally participated in the introduction of the Kiefset smelting furnace to shut down, marking the closure of all 261 enterprises in the Qingshuitang Old Industrial Zone.

Watching the equipment shutdown and the old factory building about to withdraw from the stage of history, Tian Weijian and his colleagues shed tears.

　　"The decrepit is for innovating, and the pace of development cannot be stopped, but also towards high quality." Tian Weijian said that now he and his team have designed and introduced the 100,000-ton cast zinc automatic casting production line equipment in Zhuzhou City, Lukou District. Yehuoju New Materials Co., Ltd. officially put into production, with cleaner production process, better product quality, and stricter environmental protection standards.

　　The theme of promoting high-quality development put forward by the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party has been vividly implemented in Zhuzhou.

More new industrial clusters are gathering momentum here, and more new momentum is bursting here.

　　In 2013, Zhuzhou City, based on the comparative advantages of the three major industries of rail transit, general aviation, and new energy vehicles, took the time to build a "China Power Valley".

Benefiting from the integration of factors and resources, the three major power industries burst out with surging new momentum.

　　At present, Zhuzhou is the world's first rail transit industrial base with an output value of over 100 billion yuan. Today, 70% of the "brain", "heart" and "nerves" of my country's rail transit equipment, electric locomotives, EMUs, and urban rails are produced here. Exported to the world, it has become a mobile national business card.

　　Small and medium-sized aero engines have maintained a rapid growth of 30% year after year, and provide strong technical support for the Zhuzhou general aviation industry to seize the opportunity. It is expected that the output value is expected to exceed 50 billion yuan by 2025.

　　At the same time, Zhuzhou City has also cultivated derivative industries of the power industry, promoted the leap-forward development of information technology, new materials, new energy and other industries, and activated the entire industrial ecology of Zhuzhou.
