In order for insurance companies to claim reimbursement rights against minors and economically vulnerable in the future, they must be deliberated by an internal committee and disclose the results of the discussion to the outside.

The Financial Services Commission decided to expand the subject of preliminary deliberation by the Litigation Management Committee of insurance companies and to strengthen the comparison and disclosure of litigation status.

The Litigation Management Committee is an internal organization that deliberates whether insurance companies file lawsuits against consumers, and so far there has been no lawsuit for claims for compensation.

This is to prevent the recurrence of a socially controversial case in March when an insurance company filed a lawsuit for compensation of tens of millions of won against an elementary school student who lost his father in a car accident and became virtually orphaned.
