The top management of ANA Holdings, a major airline company in a difficult business environment, and the governor of Saga Prefecture met and agreed to have Saga Prefecture accept the secondment of ANA employees in order to protect employment.

Shinya Katanozaka, President of ANA Holdings, met with Governor Yoshinori Yamaguchi of Saga Prefecture at Haneda Airport on the 7th.

ANA is expected to have a final deficit of 510 billion yen this year due to the impact of the new coronavirus, and plans to send more than 400 people to local governments and external companies to maintain employment of employees.

At the meeting, Saga Prefecture agreed to accept 10 employees under the age of 40 to the department in charge of tourism promotion and child-rearing support for a period of about two years from February next year.

After the meeting, Governor Yamaguchi said, "We have been cooperating since the opening of the port, where the users of Saga Airport were sluggish, so we would like to firmly support the company that is currently in a difficult situation."

In addition, President Katanosaka said, "I am really grateful for the difficult situation with the new corona. Saga has many attractive tourism resources, and I would like to use the power of employees for the development of the region."
