The report pointed out that from January to October, the express delivery business volume is expected to exceed 64.1 billion pieces, exceeding the full-year business volume of 2019. The express delivery volume has increased by more than 1.5 billion pieces year-on-year for 7 consecutive months.

  According to calculations, the China Express Development Index in October 2020 was 302.4, a year-on-year increase of 38.9%.

The development scale index, service quality index, development capability index, and development trend index were 309.6, 476.3, 185.9, and 108.9, respectively, an increase of 32.6%, 60.1%, 8.8%, and 53.5% over the same period of the previous year, indicating that my country's express delivery market is developing in scale , Service quality and development trends have improved significantly, and development capabilities have progressed steadily.

  In October, the express delivery scale index was 309.6, a year-on-year increase of 32.6%.

From the perspective of sub-indices, the express delivery business volume is expected to complete 8 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 38.9%.

The express delivery business revenue is expected to complete 81.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24%.

From October 1st to 8th, the industry received 1.82 billion parcels, an average of 230 million parcels per day, a year-on-year increase of 53.4%.

Second, the major platforms rushed ahead of the "Double 11" peak season.

Pinduoduo's "10 billion subsidy" live broadcast room once again entered the Yiwu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, driving the platform's import sales growth of over 150% on that day.

The advance of e-commerce promotion has caused the express delivery business volume to rise steadily. In mid-to-late October, the average daily express delivery volume exceeded 260 million.

  In October, the express service quality index was 476.3, a year-on-year increase of 60.1%.

From the perspective of sub-indices, the effective complaint rate of express delivery is expected to be 0.2 parts per million, an improvement of over 30%.

Consumer satisfaction with express service was 78.7 points, an increase of 0.4 points year-on-year.

The 72-hour punctuality rate in key areas was 75.4%, a slight decrease.

One is the continuous improvement of service experience.

The second is the upgrade of agricultural products delivery services.

  In October, the express delivery capability index was 185.9, a year-on-year increase of 8.8%.

From the perspective of sub-indices, the retail sales of express support network will be close to 830 billion yuan, an increase of more than 90 billion yuan year-on-year.

From the perspective of capital market expectations, due to the positive impact of the peak season, the capital market continues to be optimistic about the express sector, with growth expectations up 52.3% year-on-year.

This year’s "Double 11" online shopping carnival has significantly changed compared to the past. It will be divided into two waves, which will be launched on November 1 and November 11. This will extend the peak online consumption season and bring continuous growth in packages. It is expected that the business volume will start in early November.
