China News Service, Mudanjiang, November 5 (Reporter Yifu Shi) On the 5th, as the last concrete was driven into the arc beam, the main structure of the Mudanjiang comprehensive transportation hub constructed by Xiong'an Company of China Railway 22nd Bureau was completed 15 days ahead of schedule. .

After the completion of the project, it will form a three-dimensional transportation pattern of “rail, road, and air” in northern Xinjiang of China, which will once again shorten the comprehensive “time and space distance” of China's economic and trade exchanges with Russia and even the European hinterland, as well as the integration of people and cultures, from the perspective of “traffic efficiency”.

Mudanjiang City in Heilongjiang Province is known as the "Snow City". It is an important regional center city in northern Xinjiang and an important opening for Sino-Russian economic and trade.

The newly-built Mudanjiang Station is not only the terminal station of the Harbin-Muland High-speed Railway consisting of the "most northern and one horizontal" line in China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway networks, it is also a transit station connecting Manzhouli and Suifenhe two major Sino-Russian land ports.

The person in charge of the project Cao Wenliang introduced that the biggest highlight of the project is the height of the single building, the large span of arc beams, the exterior decoration adopts double-faced back-bolted dry hanging stone curtain wall, the roof adopts a spherical grid structure, and the public part of the station is round. The arc suspended ceiling adopts reverse suspension construction, and these combinations represent the current advanced mainstream technology and design concepts in the field of housing construction in China.

After the project is completed, it will become the first modern comprehensive transportation hub in China's northernmost alpine region.

At the same time, due to its complex geographical environment factors, it also provides a reference model for one-stop "zero transfer" travel in the alpine regions of the world.

The project will echo the Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport in the future, solve the problem of rapid transfer of Chinese and foreign passengers, and form a three-dimensional traffic pattern of “rail, road, and air” in northern China, and once again draw closer China to Russia and the hinterland of Europe from the perspective of “traffic efficiency” All-round "time and space distance" such as economic and trade exchanges and cultural integration.
