National railways sent 157 million tons of coal in October

The reporter learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd.: In October, the National Railways loaded 2.24 million vehicles and sent 157 million tons of coal; the average daily coal loading was 72,400, an increase of 1181 vehicles or 1.7% from the previous month; the average daily delivery Coal was 5.005 million tons, an increase of 69,000 tons or 1.4% month-on-month.

Coal storage in major power plants and ports across the country has been stable at a relatively high level, which has effectively guaranteed market supply.

  According to the person in charge of the freight department of China Railway Group, in order to ensure a stable supply of coal in winter, the railway department actively communicated with local governments and key power generation companies to fully understand the demand, coordinate the deployment of transportation capacity, and accurately organize coal transportation.

In October, the coal transportation volume of the Wari, Houyue, and Haoji railways all achieved year-on-year growth. The total completed transportation volume was 28.82 million tons, an increase of 7.55 million tons. The Shaanxi coal export completed 69.53 million tons, an increase of 8.8 million tons.

The Northeast region received and unloaded 700,000 tons of coal every day, an average increase of 60,000 tons, or 9.4%, from the previous month.

  In October, the average daily load of thermal coal was 40,800 vehicles, an increase of 2,597 vehicles or 6.8% month-on-month.

At present, there are 60.2 million tons of coal stored in 350 direct railway power plants across the country, an increase of 5.7 million tons or 10.5% from the end of September. The coal storage in ports around the Bohai Sea such as Qinhuangdao and Tangshan has always remained at around 17 million tons, effectively promoting the stability of the coal market .

  The China Coal Transportation and Marketing Association believes that in order to ensure the stable supply of coal in winter in my country, the main coal-producing provinces and regions will continue to release coal production capacity, optimize coal production and development layout and production capacity structure, coal production capacity and output will increase steadily, and the railway sector will fully guarantee the optimization of transportation. Coal supply and coal railway transportation volume will continue to grow, and coal market supply is expected to be stable and sufficient in the future.
