ITOCHU Corporation is the first company to enter the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
On November 3, ITOCHU East Asia Deputy General Manager and ITOCHU (China) Group Co., Ltd. General Manager Mori Takashi told reporters that the free trade zone’s policies are very friendly to foreign-funded enterprises, and the company has developed rapidly after entering the free trade zone.
In 1988, Mori Changlong, who came to Shanghai for the first time, did not expect Pudong to develop so rapidly. "It was a rural area", and it is now very powerful.
