Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client, November 3, US Eastern Time Monday, the three major US stock indexes collectively closed higher, and the Dow rose more than 420 points.

  As of the close, the Dow rose 423.45 points, or 1.60%, to 26,925.05 points; the Nasdaq rose 46.02 points, or 0.42%, to 10957.61 points; the S&P 500 index rose 40.28 points, or 1.23%, to 3,110.24 points.

  Large American technology stocks were mixed. Apple fell 0.08%, Amazon fell 1.04%, Netflix rose 1.76%, Google rose 0.51%, Facebook fell 0.67%, and Microsoft fell 0.07%.

  US financial stocks rose collectively. JPMorgan Chase rose 2.24%, Goldman Sachs rose 0.65%, Citigroup rose 1.93%, Morgan Stanley rose 2.58%, Bank of America rose 1.56%, Wells Fargo rose 2.1%, and Berkshire Hathaway rose 1.44%.

  US energy stocks collectively rose, Exxon Mobil rose 4.2%, Chevron rose 3.91%, ConocoPhillips rose 5.63%, Schlumberger rose 4.28%, and EOG Energy rose 2.66%.

  Popular Chinese concept stocks were mixed. Alibaba rose 1.98%, JD.com rose 0.98%, Baidu rose 0.75%; Renren rose 22.43%, Ideal Auto rose 13.44%, Mavericks rose 9.21%, and Weilai rose 8.99% , Xiaopeng Motors rose 6.91%, Pinduoduo rose 1.82%; Eggshell Apartments fell 21.39%, Liulishuo fell 11.29%, and Lexin fell 10.07%.

  In the European stock markets, the London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks closed at 5654.97 points, an increase of 77.70 points or 1.39% from the previous trading day.

The CAC40 index of the Paris stock market in France closed at 4,69.14 points, an increase of 96.90 points or 2.11% from the previous trading day.

The DAX index in Frankfurt, Germany, rose 231.80 points, or 2.01%, to close at 11788.28 points.

  In terms of international oil prices, the price of West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil (WTI) for December delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by US$1.02, or nearly 2.9%, to close at US$36.81 per barrel.

The price of Brent crude oil futures for January delivery on the London Intercontinental Exchange rose $1.03, or 2.7%, to close at $38.97 per barrel.

  In terms of international gold prices, the most active December gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market rose by $12.6 from the previous trading day to close at $1892.5 per ounce, an increase of 0.67%.

  As of the end of New York trading, the US dollar index, which measures the US dollar against six major currencies, rose 0.09% to 94.1303.
