French high-end brand Chanel announced today (2nd) that it is raising the price of some products, including handbags, by about 2%.

The main impression items are classic bags and boy bags.

This price increase is made in both general stores and duty-free stores.

While raising the price, according to the product price released on the Chanel official website today, the classic large handbag rose to 14 million won, exceeding 10 million won.

The Boy Chanel Small Flap Bag costs 6.14 million won, and the medium and large sizes are 6.69 million won and 6.97 million won, respectively.

A Chanel official said, "If major exchange rates change according to the'harmonious pricing policy', prices will be adjusted to reduce the price difference between countries." I explained.

Before the price increase was confirmed, rumors were circulating around the online community, and last weekend, consumers trying to enter Chanel stores lined up in front of major department stores before the store opened.

Chanel raised the price of its major products by 20% earlier in May, and this is the second price increase this year.
