“PGNiG exercised the right stipulated in the contract and filed an application with PJSC Gazprom and LLC Gazprom Export to change the price of gas supplied under the contract for the sale of natural gas to the Republic of Poland dated September 25, 1996 (the so-called Yamal contract), in the direction of its decrease ”, - indicated in the message.

The Polish company noted that according to the agreement, each party has the right once every three years to demand a revision of the price terms of supplies, "if it considers that they do not correspond to the market situation."

In July, PGNiG returned $ 90 million to Gazprom Export, which turned out to be superfluous when transferring money as part of the execution of the decision of the Stockholm Arbitration to revise gas prices.

In March, the Polish company announced it had won the gas price case under the current contract.

According to PGNiG, it is eligible for a return of $ 1.5 billion.

On June 30, Gazprom Export transferred funds to PGNiG in accordance with the decision of the arbitration tribunal in the dispute over gas prices.
