The number of cosmetics companies has grown from more than 430 in 2011 to more than 550 in 2020.

Lin Xiangguo, a secondary investigator of the Cosmetics Supervision Department of Zhejiang Provincial Drug Administration, said that the overall development prospects of the cosmetics industry in Zhejiang Province are good, and the next step is to build three demonstration zones for the cosmetics industry.

  [Explanation] In recent years, Zhejiang Provincial Drug Administration has taken the lead in the field of cosmetics, actively and effectively in all aspects.

In terms of product supervision, the cosmetics filing points system and classification management have been implemented. From January 2020 until now, a total of 1,656 companies have been rated.

Carried out the special rectification of high-risk cosmetics, online and offline clean source and beauty salon cosmetics, inspected 54 high-risk cosmetics production enterprises, 15653 beauty salons, 54 cosmetics e-commerce platforms; Zhejiang Drug Administration also returned Guide the Zhejiang Health Products and Cosmetics Industry Association to carry out brand selection, recommended by regulatory agencies at all levels and expert review, and 2.6 million people voted online to participate in the selection of the "2019 Zhejiang Beauty Cosmetics Brands", and vigorously develop the "Zhejiang Beauty" A series of promotional activities on the theme.

The reporter also visited relevant brand companies. The person in charge of the company told the reporter that in addition to government supervision, the company itself must rely on technological innovation and also pay attention to cultural brand building in the revival of domestic products.

In the next step, we will focus on the creation of the entire beauty industry chain and further promote the development of the one, two and three integration of the beauty industry.

At the same time, we will speed up the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, and make our beauty town a high-standard and all-round fashion star in the Yangtze River Delta.

  [Explanation] In July this year, Zhejiang Provincial Drug Administration and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology jointly issued the "Zhejiang Cosmetics Industry High-quality Development Implementation Plan 2020-2025", which proposed 28 specific measures from eight aspects to strive for the province by 2025. The cosmetics industry has annual sales revenue of 200 billion yuan, and cultivates 3 industry leaders with annual sales revenue of more than 10 billion yuan, and owns more than 5 internationally renowned brands.
