On October 25, the Beijing Municipal Office of Small Bus Indicators released the fifth phase of this year's lottery data. Over 460,000 people are applying for new energy indicators, but the total number of people has dropped slightly compared with the previous period.

In response to the issue of "family lottery" that citizens are concerned about, the Beijing Municipal Transportation Department stated that the policy for allocation of indicators to families in 2021 is still in the process of research and formulation.

Upon review, as of 24:00 on October 8, 2020, there are 3509124 valid codes for individual applicants for ordinary passenger cars and 70,117 units; a total of 466453 valid codes for individual applicants for new energy passenger cars and 11,887 units.

In this period, 6366 personal ordinary passenger car indicators will be allocated; 266 ordinary passenger car indicators of unit will be allocated.

Starting from August 1, Beijing has issued an additional 20,000 new energy minibus quotas for "car-free families" at one time.
