This is a new consumer experience brought by Beijing after being approved as the country's only pilot city for cross-border e-commerce sales of pharmaceutical products.

  As one of the first companies to enter the Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Keyuan Trading Company is mainly engaged in the import and distribution of imported drugs and vaccine products, but it used to mainly serve distributors and rarely directly serve ordinary consumers.

With the opening up of Beijing's service industry, cross-border e-commerce sales of imported pharmaceutical products have become possible.

During the "June 18" promotion festival this year, the pilot was officially launched. Keyuan Trading Company was responsible for the import of pharmaceutical products and warehouse customs services. Alibaba Health and JD Health sold these products on their respective platforms.

  "The hottest selling is a Japanese pain relief plaster. In the past, consumers had to wait at least a week for purchasing agents. With the customs's innovative supervision model, bulk commodities can enter the Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Area in advance."   With the acceleration of the cross-border e-commerce online shopping bonded import business, from January to August this year, Beijing's online shopping bonded import was 1.576 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of over 137 times.

At the same time, Beijing has also innovated and developed the "bonded online shopping + offline self-pickup" model. In January this year, the first batch of cross-border e-commerce offline self-pickup stores You Qiaohuo and Keyuan Xinhai started operations.

At Keyuan Xinhai's experience store, people can select health-related imported goods on the spot. After placing an online order, they can pick it up on the spot without waiting for express delivery.

  Online services create new consumption scenarios

  Not only have there been new experiences in commodity consumption, online services have also created new consumption scenarios, bringing new convenience to people.

  After the outbreak of the epidemic, JD Health launched a rapid online hospital plan to reduce the risk of cross-infection caused by citizens going to physical hospitals.

At the same time, free consultation services for all departments were opened, and the average daily consultation volume of the platform reached 100,000.

  In the field of education, "Internet + education" has accelerated its deployment, and educational service platforms such as Ai Learning have opened live cloud platforms for free, helping more than 10,000 cooperative institutions and more than 3,000 non-cooperative institutions across the country to transform online in a timely manner to ensure that classes are not suspended.

Cloud tourism and cloud fitness are also unprecedentedly hot.

Meituan tickets have launched the "Scenic Spot Live" function to help scenic spots show the experience of the park.

Keep has set up 10 gyms in the city, and at the same time realizes online class appointments and online teaching.

  Shopping while watching the live broadcast has become a new pleasure for many people.

Since the beginning of this year, the city’s key e-commerce companies have launched more than 700 live broadcasts on major live broadcast platforms, CCTV and Beijing Satellite TV, and have driven sales of over 12 billion yuan.

Wangfujing, Sanlitun and other key business districts have broadcast more than 800 live broadcasts this year.

  New consumer action pushes 22 new measures

  In order to further promote new consumption, in July this year, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce launched a new consumption action in conjunction with multiple departments, and proposed 22 specific measures in five aspects: cultivating new models, improving new quality, optimizing new supplies, laying out new infrastructure, and creating a new environment. Comprehensively promote the recovery and upgrading of the Beijing consumer market.

  The “22 Articles for Promoting New Consumption” proposed that it will continue to promote new models such as social marketing, live streaming, and cloud shopping for physical businesses, and guide online companies to promote new models such as mobile front warehouses and “vegetable baskets”.

Beijing will also continue to promote the inclusion of Internet follow-up consultations at designated medical institutions in the scope of medical insurance payment, and realize the one-stop service of “Internet follow-up consultations + online prescription circulation + home delivery of medicines”.

At the same time, support high-quality off-campus online training institutions to participate in the construction of online courses in primary and secondary schools in this city, and run "air classrooms".

In addition, through demonstration and promotion of typical cases, the cultural tourism and sports industry will be encouraged to innovate and develop new forms of online marketing such as cloud tourism, cloud performance, cloud reading, and online remote sports and fitness.
