The ranking of the 100 most lacking jobs in the third quarter released

News from our newspaper (reporter Li Danqing) China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center released on October 23 the ranking of the 100 occupations with the "most lack of jobs" in the third quarter of 2020.

The ranking shows that there are more shortages of occupations in the fields of manufacturing and social production services and life services.

Among them, salesmen, cleaners, restaurant waiters, security guards, merchandise salesmen, couriers, lathes, etc. have been among the top ten shortage occupations for six consecutive months.

Housekeeping attendants, customer service administrators, and real estate agents have entered the top ten occupations with the most shortage of jobs.

From the perspective of ranking, compared with the ranking of shortage occupations in the second quarter, the manufacturing industry has recovered significantly and the demand for talents is strong.

Of the 28 new occupations in the ranking, 19 are related to manufacturing.

Of the 15 occupations with increasing shortages, 5 occupations are related to manufacturing.

At the same time, the number of recruitment needs and the number of job applicants have "both declined" month-on-month. The number of job applicants has fallen more significantly, the number of gaps has expanded, and the relationship between supply and demand is still tight.

From the perspective of the 100 occupations with the "most lack of jobs", the number of recruitment needs dropped from 1.489 million in the second quarter to 1.316 million, the number of job seekers dropped from 743,000 in the second quarter to 492,000, and the number of gaps dropped from 746,000 in the second quarter. The number of people rose to 824,000, and the overall job-seeking ratio (the ratio of the number of recruitment needs to the number of job applicants) rose from 2.01 in the second quarter to 2.67.

The rebounding demand brought about by the peak of resumption of work and production in the second quarter has fallen, and the overall market supply and demand has returned to normal.

It is worth noting that the shortage of occupations related to epidemic prevention and control has been significantly eased.

In addition to sewing workers who remain in the ranking, five occupations including sewing machinery assembly and debugging workers, medical material product manufacturers, physicians, pharmaceutical preparation workers, and cutting workers have all dropped out of the ranking, and the shortage has been significantly eased.
