The government wants to make the simplification of online administrative procedures a priority.

It is based on some two million opinions left over the past year by Internet users and analyzed by the executive.

If they are rather positive, they highlight a few shortcomings, including accessibility for people with disabilities.

Application for a vehicle registration document, registration on the electoral rolls, request for a criminal record extract, Parcoursup candidacy: more and more procedures are possible online.

But where possible, some Internet users are still sometimes tearing their hair out.

This is why the government intends to make administrative procedures online a priority and will devote 500 million euros to it as part of the recovery plan.

Europe 1 gives you a preview of the inventory made by the executive.

This inventory can be summed up in one figure: among the 250 most common procedures in France, 182 can now be carried out online, without leaving home.

With, at the forefront, the Ministries of the Economy, Agriculture, or Ecological Transition, 100% of which can be done online.

This is good, but it does not say anything about the way in which these approaches are declined: am I well guided to arrive at the goal that I am pursuing?

Can I easily attach the supporting documents?

Does my approach succeed quickly?

Difficult procedures for people with disabilities

The best judgment is that given by users.

In one year, two million comments were collected and analyzed thanks to the small button "I give my opinion" which appears on the sites of the administration.

The opinion is positive in 71% of cases, but with two weak points.

Half of the time (53%) you are asked for data that you have already provided.

And above all, 88% of online procedures present difficulties for the disabled.

A shame, because if there are citizens who benefit from being able to do everything from home, it is them.

Who are the top ranked departments?

Prime Minister's services: 100% of steps can be taken online with a satisfaction rate of 94%

Economy, finance and recovery: 100% with a satisfaction rate of 65%

Agriculture and Food: 100% with a satisfaction rate of 77%

Ecological transition: 100% with a satisfaction rate of 72%

Solidarity and Health: 82% with a satisfaction rate of 68%

There is therefore still a lot of progress to be made, which has led the government to put 500 million euros on the table over the next two years as part of the recovery plan.
