Continuously strengthen fair and just supervision
Since 2018, the Development and Reform Commission has taken the lead in researching the establishment and continuous improvement of China’s business environment evaluation system: In 2018, it organized two batches of business environment evaluations in 22 cities in the eastern, central, western and northeastern regions; 41 cities including municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities under separate state planning, provincial capitals and some prefecture-level cities have carried out business environment assessments, and have carried out trial assessments of business environment in 21 cities in Northeast China; in 2020, continue to conduct business environment assessments in 80 cities above the prefecture level Conduct business environment assessments with 18 national-level new districts.
