As an enterprise specializing in radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and specializing in the production of anti-theft tags and testing equipment for more than 20 years, the radio frequency identification antennas produced by MST in Changxing have a wide range of uses in the market.
"The most typical role is in warehousing and logistics, animal husbandry, food and drug tracking, etc." said Hu Rihong, deputy general manager of production at Meister Radio Frequency Technology (Changxing) Co., Ltd.
Radio frequency is a non-contact automatic identification technology that emerged in the 1990s. It uses radio frequency signals through spatial coupling (alternating magnetic or electromagnetic fields) to achieve contactless information transmission and achieve automatic identification through the transmitted information. The traditional magnetic card and IC card technology has the characteristics of non-contact, fast reading speed and no wear.

"Changxing has a good geographical location, convenient transportation, and abundant labor resources, which is very suitable for industrial development." Hu Rihong said.
In 2016, MEST's radio frequency technology settled in Si'an, and trial production started in October 2018.

The total planned area of Changxing District of the Demonstration Zone is 86.3 square kilometers, of which the planned core area is 25.2 square kilometers (Sian block 19.2 square kilometers, Lincheng block 6 square kilometers), ecological protection recreation area area 50.1 square kilometers, ecological agriculture area area 11 square kilometers.

"At present, domestic wireless radio frequency technology is widely used in the field of civic cards and other credit cards, but it is not popular in logistics and other aspects." Hu Rihong introduced that Cainiao Station is intending to reach cooperation with this technology. There is no need to scan the courier boxes one by one, as long as the whole is scanned, all the information can be entered, which can greatly improve the logistics speed.
"The biggest requirement for us is to reduce costs, because it definitely requires a courier and a price tag, which is a one-off, and this is the direction we are currently working on." Hu Rihong said.
